Radu is an experienced healthcare entrepreneur and investor, with extensive medical and drug development expertise.

Previously an investment professional with iNovia Capital and MSBi Valorisation, Radu was involved in sourcing, evaluating and structuring investment opportunities across the life sciences sector. While at iNovia, he led multiple transactions and financing rounds and provided entrepreneurial support to several portfolio companies such as Mimetogen Pharmaceuticals (phase 3, ophthalmology) and  Milestones Pharmaceuticals (Nasdaq: MIST; phase 3,cardiovascular).

Radu created FUNDRY Inc, an entrepreneurship accelerator focusing on life sciences, which collaborated with universities and innovation transfer groups across Canada, including McGill University, CQDM, MSBiV and AccelRx. He served on the board of directors of many health sciences companies, and is frequently invited as lecturer on matters of innovation transfer and biotech start-up structuring. Radu is a medical doctor and also holds a graduate diploma in Drug Development from the Université de Montréal and a graduate diploma in Management from Hautes Études Commerciales in Montreal.
